  1. This whole disaster could really affect the world's economy. If Japan gets blown up from the nuclear power plants then the third largest economy in the world could slow to a halt and all japanese products would be taken off the shelves everywhere.

  2. True, although this could open up opportunities for other countries after companies based in Japan are wiped out from the nuclear power plant disaster. If there's a shortage in supply of manufacturing, it will open up job opportunities for other people in other countries.

  3. Natural Disasters have been a part of humanity from the beginning. People from all ages have grappled with the awe power of nature but have more often then not displayed the even greater power of human resiliancy. Sure, this disater is extremely unfortunate and will have negative consequences in a highly interdependant global economy because of the scarcity of recources. But, I think the people of Japan will benfit from the thoughts prayers and relief efforts of nations around the world and will be able to rise again as a prominent force in the world.

  4. Not only will this natural disaster give opportunities to people in other countries, it will also give job opportunities to the people of Japan. Because of the destruction, Japan will try to recover quickly which means they will need a lot more people to work on construction projects. Japan is actually showing some small signs of recovery through small stock increases and they are actually starting to continue with production. This just shows that even if Japan is going through many hardships both physically and emotionally(nuclear power plant threat, death toll over 9,000, etc..), they are still very determined to overcome these and get back on top.
